I have spent the last six days doing a whole lot of walking. Since I only learned to use the bus last night, I needed to walk every place we wanted to go. It has been a great way to get a sense of direction here, see lots of sights and even squeeze in some exercise to work off those regrettable Guinesses. So, for those of you trying to imagine what my days are like here in Dublin, here is how most of them begin: with a walk down South Circular Road and Camden Street. This route leads me in the direction of both my school and the city center.
My son did a year abroad at UCC Cork about five years ago. Fantastic time and we loved visiting. Enjoy your time in the enchanted isle.
